Gallery of Custom Made Items
These items were custom projects. I would be happy to recreate them or something similar for you. Please check back here, as newly completed projects are always being added.
I answered a request for custom work back in September to do a re-creation dress. The request asked if anyone could make a dress worn in an episode of “Pushing Daisies”. Audrey didn’t have a photo of the dress and I couldn’t find the episode online. I really love to re-create dresses seen in movies and on TV, so I did a little Googling and found this photo in a forum chat about the show.
I got an emphatic “Yes!” that’s the dress. So, after a couple of conversations, I won the bid to do the work. We looked through several online swatches of fabric and finally decided on Michael Miller’s Vintage Cherries. My customer had just joined Jenny Craig and didn’t want to fill out the measurement form until she had reached a certain goal. So Fall and Winter came and went, and I had other projects to work on. Vintage Cherries sat on a shelf waiting for the day.
A couple of weeks ago, the measurements came in. Audrey had lost 22 pounds! I was very excited to get to work on this dress. I drew and pattern-graded, measured and cut, added a full muslin lining (no sticky polyester here!).

"I got the dress last night and it is PERFECT!!! Ohmygoodness, it is soo darling, and fits me perfectly! I love it! Thank you again for your patience and hard work.." Audrey K.
Houndstooth Coats
Nancy wanted this coat that she saw online for herself and a friend for Christmas.

They are lovely plus sized ladies and wanted this re-creation done to fit their voluptuous proportions (not every beautiful woman is a skinny unmovable mannequin!). I was excited by the challenge of creating this coat from only the original photo without any description,
and to make it twice with two different sets of measurements! Great feedback makes my heart smile :)

"The coats arrived, and OMG I am so excited they are perfect, better than expected even. Gave my friend her coat today and she was so excited and over the moon in happiness, and both fit like a dream.
Any future orders for custom work I will be back. Incredible communication, extraordinary workmanship.
I cannot say enough good things about Terri and her professionalism and her craftsmanship. You cannot go wrong if you purchase from her, especially if you have a custom order.
I will recommend to anyone I know.
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou
Oh sorry for the cheesy grins, but the picture taker told us to say Cheese Wiz right as he snapped the picture- as you can see we are very happy" - Nancy

Wrap Dress
African parrot wax print with black cotton accents.
This was made from a customer's fabric she had purchased on travel to Africa!
"What a wonderful dress to have FINALLY made! Classy and a extra goody too! I'm so glad you were able to make my dreams come true! It's just as I imagined! And so quickly too. Thanks again. " - Wendy
Man Bag
Olive twill, brown cotton strapping - lined in brown cotton. Laptop pouch : brown pinwale corduroy, batting, and brown cotton lining.
This customer is into Steampunk and requested a Man Bag with embellishments. He also commissioned a quilted laptop pouch that fits inside the bag.
"Beautiful bag and laptop pocket! Arrived today, and is exactly what I wanted! Very positive experience... I would buy from her again. :) " - Mike
Zuul Dress
Burnt orange organza over copper metallic lame' with a detachable cumberbund.
This customer wanted a re-creation of the dress worn by Sigourney Weaver in the movie Ghostbusters. She and her boyfriend are going as The Gatekeeper and The Keymaster for Halloween. This was my first time working with lame`, so I was a bit nervous! I did actually watch the movie again (for the first time in years!) and pause the levitation scene to get a good all-around view of the original. This was a lot of fun :)
"This arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Great communication, and excellent work. Thank you so much!!!!!!"
